Introducing Kitbag.io - an app for planning trips around your favorite things.
Kitbag.io is a web app for planning trips around your favourite bands, trips, sports teams, etc. There’s no signup needed, and it takes just a few clicks to create some personalized trips.
Why I made Kitbag
When I would plan trips with friends and family, we'd usually plan it around one big event. I've planned many trips around seeing my Jays or Raptors play. It's usually in Toronto, and we're left trying to figure out what to do the other days of the trip.
With Kitbag, I can now plan trips to see the jays play, the same week as my favorite band, in a city I've never been to before.
What's the story?
Kitbag started as a prototype 3ish years ago. This very quickly became an abandoned project once we were faced with a global pandemic, and travelling was out of the question.
I've always loved the idea of the app, so over Christmas I spent some time reviving and updating the old project.
